Wander our way and learn a bit, share a lot, and most of all have a bloomin’ good time. Let the countryside be your inspiration and join us at one or more farm events. You needn’t be experienced, just eager and willing. At evening’s end we’ll gather at the “door” for light refreshments before heading home.

For all events, bring gloves and good cutting scissors if you have them. Long pants are good if you plan to wander, as bees and poison ivy like flower farms too.

Springtime at the Farm – Bird’s Nest: Saturday March 27th, 10:00 a.m. Anyone ready for spring?  Come join us and we'll create a "bird's nest" table centerpiece from gathered finds. The nest is made with a straw wreath base, then decorated with nature finds and completed with candy birds' eggs nestled in the mossy center. It's a great centerpiece for Easter. I'll provide soup and drink for a light lunch... There should be daffodils and spirea blooming so bring a small vase and we'll make a sweet little bouquet as well. Stay after lunch and wander the farm if you'd like. ($25 fee includes lunch and all supplies). FULL

Bird’s Nest Overflow: Tuesday March 30, 10:00 a.m.  The Saturday workshop is full to overflowing. If we have at least 5 folk interested, we’ll add this workshop.

Lilacs and Laughter - FarmStyle Wellness: Saturday, April 24th. 8:30 am - 4:30 p.m. Bouquet making becomes therapeutic as we blend the best April has to offer – lilacs, tulips, viburnum, ranunculus, anemone, and dogwood -  with wildflower walks and healthy eating. Luncheon faire of mustard, kale, and lettuce double as bouquet fillers, and afternoon “high herbal tea” becomes a Victorian posey. We’ll create 4 arrangements, one in a dainty white pitcher and several in your favorite containers. Click here to see the schedule of this “more than just flowers” day long event. Flowers and wellness never blended so sweetly. (Limit 10 - $95 prepaid fee includes flowers and bouquet making, white pitcher, lunch, high tea, and wellness presentations).

Mother’s Day Petal Party: Saturday, May 8, 9:00-11:30 a.m. Come and create Mother’s Day bouquets and learn about peonies, baptisia, mock orange, rhododendron, Sweet William, ranunculus, anemone, and other spring bloomers. Receive a polka dot pitcher and bring a favorite large and small container. We’ll investigate all things growing and conclude our morning with light refreshments. (Limit 15 - $55 fee must be prepaid. Fee includes all supplies, flowers, refreshments, and one container).

Backyard Ball Jar Bouquets, Monday, May 17, 6:30 p.m.  Come and lean basic arranging and play in the bounty of late spring! You’ll receive two blue ball jars, one large and one small and then heap them with sweet william, peonies, mock orange, dutch iris, and all things blooming. Light refreshments. $45 prepaid fee.

Hand-tied Bouquet and Bridal Luncheon: Tuesday, June 8, 10:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Gather dianthus, campanula, larkspur, snaps, stocks, bupleurum, ammi, and godetia and learn to ribbon wrap that “something different” hand-tied bouquet. After awhile we’ll share table ideas at a special bridal luncheon. $55 prepaid fee includes all flowers, supplies, and lite lunch.

Friendship and Flowers, Saturday, June 19 - 9:00- a.m. – 8:30 p.m.  A daylong celebration of friendship and flowers. We’ll wander through the woods, hike to the ridge, and relax and enjoy the mountain views, all the while creating fresh and dried arrangements. Al fresco lunch and supper included. $150 prepaid fee includes, flowers, meals, and several containers. FULL

Teapots and tablecloths: Thursday, August 5th, 6:00 p.m. til the tea party’s over. Vintage tablecloths will cover stumps and nail kegs to give the farm a fanciful feel. We'll each choose from a collection of teapots and discuss table design, color, and texture then fill our teapots with lisianthus and the finest of summer faire. At last we’ll nibble on shortbread and sip herbal teas. Everything except the tablecloth leaves the farm with you. Bring an extra vase for leftover flowers. $55 fee includes tea pot.

Blessings a’bloom:  Friday, September 17th, 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Let’s spend a faith-based day counting our blessings and admiring God’s handiwork. Cost for the day is $150 and includes all arranging materials, buckets of flowers, catered meals, several floral containers, and lots of inspiration.  Schedule on line soon.

2 Pumpkin Workshops: Tuesday, Sept 28 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. OR  Saturday October 2, 9:30-12:30 p.m.  We’ll carve and clean a pumpkin and create an arrangement inside. I’ll have flowers cut but you can wander and gather more - choosing fresh, dried or a combination. No experience needed. After the work is done we’ll share pumpkin soup and roasted pumpkin seeds. $50 prepaid fee.

2 Christmas Centerpiece Workshops: Thurs Dec 10, 1:00 p.m. OR Saturday Dec. 12, 1:00 p.m. Decorate your table or mantle this holiday season with a festive centerpiece you’ll create, featuring a variety of freshly harvested greens, unusual dried flowers, fresh fruit and berries. With proper care your centerpiece should remain fresh for weeks. Cost of the workshop is $50 and includes all your supplies and pepperminty refreshments.

Birdfeeder Wreath: Saturday, Jan 1, 10:30 a.m. – noonish.  Bring your own fading holiday wreath then transform it into a nesting place for the most selective of your feathered friends. We’ll provide seed heads, millets, corn shucks and more that will make your wreath as pretty as it is practical. Place your wreath outside and it will last for weeks. We’ll dine on warm soup and home made bread when our creations are complete. Limit 10 - $30. (Wreath not included)
