Come wander our farm in all its early autumn glory and gather a large bucket of flowers, fillers, and open field goodness then create arrangements in vessels you bring along with you. While not a typical design workshop,  you’ll cut and then play with dahlias, lisianthus, cosmos, celosias, amaranthus, hydrangea, basils, grasses and so much more. Bring your own small, medium, and large containers and play with flowers til the light is gone. The farm is perfect right now for photos so plan to snap pics in fall’s golden light. Bring a snack and a drink if you’d like and after we’re finished creating we’ll relax and talk flowers just a bit longer.

We’ll gather at the Homeplace, 399 Bruce Doan Rd., Blountville, TN 37617 and wander from there. Please bring your own containers for arranging. Depending on the size of your vessels you’ll likely have enough material to create at least 4-5 arrangements. If you have nippers you like bring those, but we’ll have plenty. This is not a design workshop but I’ll be making arrangements right along with you and can point you in a direction if you’d like. Your registration is not refundable and we will meet rain or shine.  Bring an umbrella or raincoat – the flowers don’t mind rain and we try to follow their example but we will move into the log barn or Homeplace to arrange if weather doesn’t cooperate. If you don’t use all your flowers, I suggest you bring a small bucket to take home the extras so you can play more when you get home.
