We finally have Dahlias and no large event so rather than make bouquets to sell, we decided (last minute of course) to let folks come and cut their own. We will have some things from Aunt Willie’s end of the farm already cut and ready for you to choose from but you will be cutting all the fun stuff: basil, zinnias, celosia, and Dahlias at the Homeplace 399 Bruce Doan Rd., 37617  

Will provide you with a container/small bucket and we will have nippers but if you have a pair, please bring your own.

Because you will pre-pay and we will have a limited number of spots, you will be guaranteed flowers even if you can’t be there right at 6 PM.

Come stroll through the Dahlia beds and take a minute to sit and relax on what looks to be a beautifully cool evening! Roy and I will be there to answer your Flower or Farm questions or just to get a bit acquainted!

We will meet at the Homeplace, 399 Bruce Doan Road, Blountville, TN 37617. It’s the house just past the hoop house on the left. I’ll try to remember to put balloons out on the mailbox, but just pull down the long drive away towards the white farmhouse. You can park anywhere in the grass along the driveway. We are a run down farm with groundhog holes, poison ivy, stinging, nettle, and anything else you might find on a farm. so please wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing. Bring nippers if you have them but we will have plenty to share.
