Yoga and a Flower Crown! May 20, 6:30- 8 p.m. $60

$60.00

Come share an evening with us at the farm where we’ll join the powerful and beautiful forces of flowers and yoga.  Raven Honsaker is a delightful young woman and a friend of the farm who happens also to be a certified yoga instructor. She teaches at Real Hot Yoga in Johnson City and also at Tennessee Hills Brewstillery and has agreed to lead a session here on the farm.  No experience is necessary and Raven will gear the class towards all ability levels and ages. We’d even be delighted if other septuagenarians come and join Roy and me! Yoga combines flexibility, strength, and community and we’re most excited about the community. After a 45 minute workout, we’ll transition to flowers and Linda will guide everyone through creating a flower crown using all flowers grown on the farm. So many pretty flowers to choose from now with peonies, sweet peas, snapdragons, and even sunflowers blooming! And as usual, there will be flowers left so bring a ball jar to take home a few extras. See below for payment and more details.

Description

We will begin the evening at the Homeplace, 399 Bruce Doan Rd., 37617 (or inside the Log Barn if it rains). I’ll try to remember to put balloons on the mailbox and please pull down the driveway to the white farmhouse. We do ask you to bring a yoga mat but everything else is provided. Yoga will be on grass if outside or gravel if inside. All materials for the flower crown will be cut and ready to go, but you may wander a bit and snip a few more blooms. There is no restroom at the Homeplace but we can take a restroom break when needed. We will meet rain or shine. Space is limited and while registration is not refundable you may gift your spot to a friend if for some reason you can’t attend.
